Conversion of bulker vessel with single hold into self discharging grain bulker with 2 separate holds. Conversion of the vessel was connected with regular DD repairs & maintenance work.

Main part of the conversion was installation of new 16 tons mid bottom section (in DD) and then longitudinal sloping chutes on tanktop and 3 new bulkheads (one watertight) above. Total weight of new steel installed abt. 130 tons.

Simultaneously with steel works all self-discharging equipment was loaded and installed onboard. Ship's electric system was rebuilt and extended for necessities of new self-discharging system. New generator was installed in fore compartment and connected with ship's power management system.
