Widening Floating Dock RW2 (August - October 2011)
Widening Floating Dock with 6 meters to an internal width of 22 meters.
At the moment we are extending floating dock the "RW-2". This dock is being widened from 16 to 22 meters inner width. The length remains 120 meter and the lifting capacity will increase from 4.500 to 5.600 tons.

Navikon Floating Dock (April 2011)
The floating dock 4600 tons successfully completed in June 2011 has been sold to the shipyard Piriou/France and it is finalny destnated to Nigerian Westatlantic shipyard.
A new building of a similar dock, L=123 m, B=30/25 m, T=6 m 5000 tons has been started in July 2011.
M/V MORNES (March 2011)
Renewal of cargo hold tanktop.
Starting from mid of February 2011 Navikon's flying team with number of 30 welders and fitters has renewed ca. 78 tons of 12 mm tanktop in co-operation with swedish Shipyard Falkvarv AB.
Time of the repair 4 weeks with full scope afloat.
This self-discharging vessel is owned by Thun Bolget Ship-management.
M/V LISTERHAVN (February 2011)
General cargo vessel owned by UMAN Shipping from Sweden.
In February 2011 Navikon was nominated by Falkvarv AB for renewal of the bigger part of damaged outer flat bottom after grounding.
In total has been replaced almost 50 tons of steel (internals, bilges and shell plating) including 36 tons which have been done by Navikon flying team.
Job has been done in one of the Falkvarv's floating docks.
CON RO 220 November 2010 February 2011 /6 vessels in a series/
A newly built Ro-Ro vessels type CON RO 220 was converted for carrying of cars.
New car deck (600m2) was built in to existing vessel structure.
This includes new drencher system (sprinkler system), lightening, fire detection system, new escape routes.
Time necessary for installation of entire construction (120T) including new systems was 12 calendar days only.
Three of those vessels has been already completed and back to normal operation.
Next three will call Navikon for conversion after New Year.

- 2010
m/v LISTER (October 2010)Conversion of bulker vessel with single hold into self discharging grain bulker with 2 separate holds. Conversion of the vessel was connected with regular DD repairs & maintenance work.
Main part of the conversion was installation of new 16 tons mid bottom section (in DD) and then longitudinal sloping chutes on tanktop and 3 new bulkheads (one watertight) above. Total weight of new steel installed abt. 130 tons.
Simultaneously with steel works all self-discharging equipment was loaded and installed onboard. Ship's electric system was rebuilt and extended for necessities of new self-discharging system. New generator was installed in fore compartment and connected with ship's power management system.
OFFSHORE CONTAINER (July 2010) Navikon has finished building offshore container for Norwegian company JOTNE. The scope of work included:
- steel construction
- painting (due to NORSOK regulations)
- thermal insulation.
The container will be installed on drilling rig.
DOCK - launching (June 2010)On the 3rd of June there was a complicated operation of launching 2 pontoons on water. For that operation came floating crane form Denamark - Samson. Both pontoons (750 tons each) will be connected on water with underwater tunnel, which will enable to weld and paint underwater part of pontoons.
PEREGRINE (April 2010)In April 2010 m/v Peregrine form English Company Euroship visited Navikon Ship Yard. There were installed truck railings installed on 3 decks. Anti-skid layer (bimagrip) was put on one deck.
NAVIKON FLOATING DOCK (March 2010)End of next stage of floating dock construction is coming soon. Pontoons construction and ballast system are finished. Last ballast tanks are being blasted and painted. We are preparing to launch pontoons on water.
ICE STAR (January 2010)In January 2010 Navikon carried out repair of m/v ICE STAR form Dutch company - Management Facilities Group. Bulkheads in 5 ballast tanks and machine room were replaced, also all holds were painted.
- 2009
m/v Fehn Coral (July 2009)In July 2009 Navikon started conversion of m/v Fehn Coral. The main purpose is to adjust holds to transport dangerous goods. There is a new CO2 room being built and equipped. Together with sprinklers in holds it forms a new extinguishing system.
Offshore Container (June 2009)Navikon is building offshore container for Norwegian company JOTNE. It is an electrical supply container for drilling rig. Scope of work consists of :- building of steel construction
- thermal insulation (class A60)
- installation of doors, windows etc.
Tinnes (May 2009)In May 2009 Navikon was in charge of cargo hold hogback damage repairs onboard cement carrier m/v Tinnes.The repair also included sandblasting and painting of cargo holds. The superintendent was very pleased with our work - see references.
m/v OHM Express (March 2009)In March 2009 Navikon started conversion and class renewal of the seismic vessel m/v OHM Express. Main work includes:- Drydocking with regular dock repairs

TRIMNES (January 2009)
In January 2009 Navikon started reneval of cement carrier - Trimnes. Works includes:exchange of tank top - 50 tons, sandblasting and paintign of holds, repair of conveyor belt - unloading system.The repair is planned to be finished in 6 weeks.

Larvik Rock (October 2008)
In the mid of October 2008 has started at Navikon the repair of the huge barge Larvik Rock (122x36x7m). The scope of repair are renewal of shell plating, interiors, general cleaning and painting.

M/V Green Concordia - painting works (August 2008)
The hull has been sandblasted to cleanness class Sa 2,5 and painted with silicon paints Hempasil Nexus 27302 and Hempasil 77500. Navikon as a first company in Poland has applied painting system based on silicon paints. The superintented of the vessel Mr. Zbigniew Lulkowski appreciated Navikon's work carried out on Green Concordia's saying these words:
"We are very satisfied again with the performance of Navikon painting team which executed good job at Green Concordia dry dock. All elements of Hempasil project fm substrate preparation, trough area cleaning/ tools preparation/painters readiness to final coating were contucted in professional way according our high expectations. It is also worth to mention that cooperation between Hempel representative and Navikon team leaders was to the owner satisfaction giving good final result."
M/V Newcastle - HP washing 500 bar (August 2008)
The cargo holds and hatch covers underneath have been cleaned with high presser water 500 bars.

In April and May 2008, Navikon has reinstated 2300 m2of upper, lower and tank top decks with use of SPS (Sandwich Plate System ) Overlay
Technology onboard the P&O's Ro/Ro cargo ferry Norcape at A&P Tyne's facilities in Hebburn. The SPS Overlay project was completed
within the original schedule of 42 days.

Baptism of Timber Carrier Bongo (April 2008)

On the 15th of April 2008 in Swinoujscie took place baptism's celebration of timber carrier Bongo, built by Navikon SRY for Swedish shipowner MP bolagen. Building of the vessel according to design of Inocean Company was started in April last year and now the vessel is ready for exploitation. Bongo was built in two blocks of weight 800 tons each, which were launched in October last year and welded together with use of floating tunnel keson.

Magni R & Trud R - Lengthening and conversion (January - May 2008) (download Case Study )
Navikon has completed the contract with Rohde Nielsen for lengthening and general conversion of two hopper barges Magni R and Trud R. The barges after completion on the 01. 05. 2008 have been launched by two floating cranes Samson and Enak.
Barges have been lengthened for 12 meters by inserting two 6 meters long sections fwd and aft. Aft deck has been raised and new engines fitted. New superstructure and accommodations have been installed. The work is being executed while vessels are "landed" onshore by floating crane Samson.
M/v Green Frost - renewal of tank top in cargo hold (February 2008)
Renewal of 25 tons of the tanktop. New insulation for deep frozen cargo.
M/v Mingo - maintenance of cargo hold and hatch covers (February 2008)
The cargo hold and hatch covers has been cleaned from a thick layer of cement residues by water-UHP method, sandblasted to Sa 2,5 and painted with two layers of epoxy paint.
Innovative technology at Navikon
For purpouse of joining MP Bolagen Barge blocks, Navikon has produced a special floating tunnel - keson. This tunnel has been placed
in the area of welding joint of shell plating in underwater and sealed. By pumping out of water the tunnel has been dried and allowed to weld the joint.
Steel repair works on m/v Green Glacier
Navikon executed steel repair works on m/v Green Glacier for Green Reefers. New boiler installed and the chain locker renewed.
M/v Green Bergen & m/v Green Tromso - rebuilding of the crane
M/v Green Bergen and m/v Green Tromso arrived to Navikon for installation of new crane cabins. The crane cabins has been installed on the
6 meters long steel arms produced by Navikon. Successful result.

m/v Prince of Tides & m/v Prince of Waves - "live cars project"
Cargo holds of two reefer sister vessels owned by Seatrade Groningen have been adapted to carry used cars. New ventilation exhaust
trunks have been fitted as well as all electrical equipment in holds has been replaced with new explosion proof once.
Both projects realized by our flying teams.
Production of Electrical Switchgear Steel Module for offshore industry
In September 2007 Navikon produced the Electrical Switchgear Steel Module for Norwegian company Jotne Prosjekt. The total weight of the

The unloading system on the M/V Clydenes (June 2006)
Navikon completed the installation of the unloading system on the M/V Clydenes for the
Owner Jebsens Ship Management (Norway).
Conversion of M/V Clydenes into type self - unloader comprised:
- conversion of hatch covers
- installation of rails on the deck for a new gantry
- new gantry
- new conveyer boom incl. hopper and its bearing
- installation of the excavator on the new gantry
A hull block 280 tons (May 2005)
Navikon built a hull block 280 tons for a passenger vessel for the France yard.
